Using Quick Search/Quick Find
There are a variety of ways to search for, and load, a matter/file in Redbrick. One of these is to use the Quick Search function which allows the search to be done without navigating to a different screen.
You can access the Quick Search area in two ways: by using the Alt+S key held down together, or by clicking on 'File' in the top left of your screen and selecting Quick Search.
A window will then open giving you 3 options for your search - Reference, UCRN or Accounts Ref (if applicable); Client Name or Client Address; Matter Address. Change the radio button accordingly/if applicable (the system will default to placing the radio button in the same one you selected last time) and then type what you are searching for and click 'Search'. The system will then display any possible matches. Highlight the correct one if there are multiple and click on 'Go To'.
Once you click on 'Go To' you will be presented with a choice to open in a new tab. Select Yes if you do, or No if you want to load the matter in the tab you currently have open:
