Using the Quick Find to locate a matter
The Quick Find option can be found either by going to File and then Quick Search.
Or, by clicking on the dropdown arrow next to the Find button.
Or using the Keyboard Shortcut Alt+S
This will then bring up a new window where you can search for a file by Reference, UCRN or Accounts Ref, Client name or client address, or, Matter address. Click the relevant radio button before doing your search, it changes defaults depending on where you are in the system when doing the Quick Search.
When you click the Search button it will show you the possible files.
Select the one you want by highlighting it and then click on the Go to button and it will then ask you if you want to open it in a new tab or not.
