Editing Previously Attached Other Parties
Editing Previously Attached Other Parties
If an Other party has been added to your matter by mistake, or, for example the Agents have changed, you should not edit them to change them, you should instead Remove the incorrect party and then Add the correct one.
If the Party is attached to multiple cases, editing them will change their details across all matters.
Go to the Other Parties Screen and select the incorrect one by highlighting it. Then click on the Remove button.
You can then Add the correct one.
If you do need to edit a party, for example, if that party has changed their address or name, you can use the Edit button, which will change the database record for that party across all cases.
This will bring you to the Edit Party window where you can change the details.
Once all changes have been made select the OK button. This will have saved your changes against this matter.
