Energy Performance Certificate integration
You will now be able to request Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) information seamlessly from with Redbrick.
There are two places where the EPC can be requested. When creating a new Matter as a Quote or Active, after running Risk Factors it will either find the only EPC available, or display multiple EPCs if there are more than one available so you can highlight the one you wish to select.
The matter will then open on the Document screen and the EPC PDF will be displayed in the Document list. Note: if only one EPC was available, please check it is still in date - occasionally the latest EPC has not yet been uploaded to the website to allow it to be pulled through to Redbrick.
You will also see a new Panel within the Matter details called Energy Performance Certificates. If an EPC has not been requested for the Matter when it was first created, or one was not available at that time, it will not show any EPC details, just the EPC button.
When clicking on the EPC button, if the Matter address isn’t valid or an EPC is not available you will see the following message:
When an EPC is available and if there are multiple EPCs found you will be asked to select the EPC you want to select:
When selecting the EPC, the details will be added to the Matter EPC Panel and the EPC PDF added to the document window.
If EPC details have already been requested for the Matter and the EPC is requested again, you will be asked to confirm if you want to replace the existing details:
