Setup comprises two areas – matters and documents:
Matters
· Go to Options -> [CurrentMatterType]
-> Customise -> Redbrick Legal AI …
· This will pop up a Redbrick Intelligence
Customization window. It will contain
some basic information regarding the matter type (this has been pre-populated
as standard) but you can add to it with extra information as required
· For example – you might want to add details of
the Exchange and Completion Date. To do
this you can use a mixture of text and tokens to provide this information. As
you add the information, the results will preview in the dark grey ‘Preview’
pane underneath. Click Ok to save your changes.
NOTE – you need to feed this window with all of the
information that you wish to get out of a matter of this matter type. You can
add to it as and when to build up a good catalogue of information
· You can also create a series of ‘Quick Prompts’
which will be in the form of quick key pieces of information that you often
require. To do this you can select Quick Prompts on the left of the window
· Click Add and a new window will appear for you
to add the information. Enter:
o Name – a quick name for your question
o Prompt – the full question you are asking
· The ‘Information Used’ window again allows you
to specify where on Redbrick that Legal AI will take this information from
(with text and tokens). Again it will preview results in the dark grey panel.
Ticking (ticked by default) to ‘Include standard information’ will also look at
the information you have stored in the Standard Information Template (above).
Click Ok to save your changes.
Documents
· Go to Options -> Document -> Redbrick
Legal AI …
· This will pop up a Redbrick Intelligence
Customization window. It will contain
some basic information for the documents (this has been pre-populated as
standard) but you can add to it with extra information as required. As documents differ considerably it would be
worthwhile keeping this section quite general

Some of
the prompts you use will be more generalised for reviewing the documents so
won’t require anything to be populated in this window.
