Default Email Subject Line - Administrator Guide
Default Email Subject Lines
It is possible to set the default subject lines for emails which have been generated through RPM. These can be set according to Matter Type and you need to have administration rights in Redbrick in order to do so.
From the Options menu, select Matter Types. Click once on each matter type name to highlight it and then look at the right-hand window which is displayed. If you need to, scroll to the area titled 'Tokenisable Templates' and then look in 'Email Subject Template' area. This should show the default (or already set) token. The example below shows [[Purchase.Property.Detail.Address]] which will bring through the address of the property detailed at matter level.
You can leave the detail as it is, or you can change/add to what is already there. An example of things that are used could be to add the token for UCRN, your Accounts or File Reference, or in the case of a non-property matter this could also include the subject line of any document that is highlighted.
To add to what is there, place your curser where you want the extra token(s) to be displayed, click on 'Insert' then in the window which opens, click on 'Token', then browse for the token you wish to include. Highlight it in the Insert Token window and click Insert. The example below shows 'UCRN' added before the property address in the final screenshot:
