In the left hand Side Panel of Redbrick PM, you can add further details in here that can be seen at a glance, this guide will show you how to do that.
Step One
Start by going to a real matter, this this example, I'm going to open a purchase file.
Step Two
Go to Options>Matter Types
Click the + next to the matter type (Purchase in this case) and then open information panel. In most instances you'll be wanting to add to the "Matter Level Panel" (this is what is shown in the first image above)
In here you can see the information that is already displayed on that panel, which you can edit or delete.
Should you want to add a new piece of information to this panel (in this case, lets add the other side) just click ADD
Step Three
Give the new info a name and then click insert>Token after the token field to choose what to display.
Choose your token, in this case I'm going to choose the token for the seller.
And then I want to display the list of their full names without titles (although i could display this in any format I'd like, such as First Last (List) or just Last (List) )
Once you have selected a token you will see a preview (if the case loaded in the background has the detail completed)
You then have the option to Show the title or not (In this case "Seller", whether you want to display the info even if its blank (in that case it would show that there is no data more obviously) and the colour of the field.
After that you have the option of where you want to send the user if they edit the info (although in this example, you cant bring them directly to the edit seller screen unfortunately)
Press OK to add it and if you'd like you can change the order with the up and down arrows
You now have the information visible on the left hand panel.
